Meatloaf Dinner at St. Mary’s Church, Crescent (86 Church Hill Road) at 5:30 p.m. in the parish hall. The meal consists of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, carrots, green beans, beverages and dessert. Retirement Reception for Father Thomas H. Chevalier, pastor, at The Church of St. Peter (241 Broadway), immediately following the 11 a.m. Mass from 12-3 p.m. in the parish center. Ordained in 1980, Father Chevalier served in various parishes and has served as pastor of St. Peter’s since 2014. All are welcome and reservations are not necessary. Lenten Evening of Song & Lenten Retreat with Dan Schutte at Christ the King Church (20 Sumter Ave.): The Ignatian Volunteer Corps (IVC) Albany presents renowned liturgical composer and songwriter Dan Schutte for a night of music and reflection. Lenten Evening of Song begins Friday, March 28, at 7 p.m., and Lenten Morning of Reflection begins on Saturday, March 29, at 9:30 a.m. Cost is $15 for the concert, $15 for the retreat, or $25 for both events.
