Ham and Scalloped Potato Dinner at St. Paul the Apostle Parish Center (2777 Albany St.) from 5-7 p.m. (Snow date Saturday, March 1.) Menu includes ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, dessert and beverages. Adult tickets are $15, children 5-12 are $10, and under 5 are free. Reservations required. Takeout is available. Waterford

Senior “Souper” Tuesday at St. Mary’s Church, Crescent (86 Church Hill Road) at 1 p.m. Seniors, join us for a soup potluck lunch in the parish hall! A great opportunity for a break during long winter days. Taste some hot soups, breads and rolls while enjoying fellowship with other seniors.

St. Luke’s Senior Social Club Meeting at the Pastoral Center (40 N. Main) from 1-3 p.m. Join us for our next social club gathering where we will be making shamrock wreath button art! “Human Trafficking, Here?” at St. Mary’s Academy (10-12 Church St.) from 6-7:30 p.m. Join us for a night of awareness identifying the signs of human trafficking in our community. Conducted by Jason McLaughlin, executive director of WAIT House, a runaway and homeless shelter for youth in Glens Falls.

Saratoga Springs

Retirement Reception for Father Thomas H. Chevalier, pastor, at The Church of St. Peter (241 Broadway), immediately following the 11 a.m. Mass from 12 p.m.-3 p.m. in the parish center. Ordained in 1980, Father Chevalier served in various parishes and has served as pastor of St. Peter’s since 2014. All are welcome and reservations are not necessary. This Growth in the Spirit Seminar will be all about exploring the changes that have taken place within you and transforming you over time since you attended a Life in the Spirit Seminar. (This event is designed for those who have completed that seminar.) How have you changed since surrendering your life to the Lord? What gifts and fruits have you found?
