Sister James Michael Ryan, CSJ

A funeral Mass was offered March 30 at St. Joseph's Provincial House, Latham, for Sister James Michael Ryan, who died March 26. She was 82 and had been a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet for 64 years.

A native of Schaghticoke, she taught for 45 years in the Albany and Syracuse Dioceses, including 27 years at St. Brigid's School in Watervliet, where she was also a cook for the convent. Survivors include a brother, David of Schaghticoke. Interment was in Our Lady Queen of Virgins Cemetery, Latham.[[In-content Ad]]
