John T. Ryan

A funeral Mass was offered Aug. 13 at St. Madeleine Sophie Church in Schenectady for John T. "Jack" Ryan, who died Aug. 9. He was 85.

A native of Troy, he served in the Marine Corps and was a driver ed teacher for Guilderland High School and his own business, the Ryan Driving School.

Survivors include a brother, Rev. Edward Ryan, a retired priest of the Albany Diocese; children, Kevin Ryan and Kathleen Whimple; and a granddaughter, Melisa Whimple.

Interment was in Memory's Garden, Colonie.[[In-content Ad]]
