The Holy Trinity flag football team’s magical season came to a stunning end with a 20-13 loss to Catskill in the Section 2 Class C title game on May 22 at Christian Brothers Academy. It was the first loss of the season for the Pride (12-1) which was looking to win back-to-back Class C titles. Holy Trinity, which trailed 20-0 in the third quarter, mounted a comeback on the arm of quarterback Ella DiBacco who threw two touchdown passes to wide receiver Emma Sagendorf to cut Catskill’s lead to just seven points. But the Pride could get no closer.
