BEACON OF HOPE FUNDRAISER

The Catholic schools in the Diocese of Albany held their 2024 Hope Reception — titled “An Evening in the Clouds” — on April 26 at The Hangar at 743 in Latham. The annual fundraiser — which at last count has raised over $75,000 this year — supports the Beacon of Hope Scholarship Fund, which provides tuition assistance to families to send their children to a Catholic school in the 14-county Diocese.
The reception featured performances and demonstrations by Catholic school students and celebrated the Beacon of Hope Community Spirit Award honorees from each school. During the 2023-24 school year, the Beacon of Hope Scholarship Fund provided financial support to more than 200 students in Catholic schools throughout the Diocese.
