THE TELEVISED CHRISTMAS MASS celebrated by Bishop Howard J. Hubbard, which is aired across the Albany Diocese each year, was taped last week at Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish in Schenectady. Above, the Bishop is assisted by Deacon Joseph Cechnicki, parish life coordinator for St. Adalbert's parish in Schenectady, during the Liturgy of the Eucharist. The Mass will air: * on WXXA-TV, Fox 23, and Time Warner Cable channel 8, at 5 a.m. on Christmas Day; * for most Time Warner Cable subscribers in the greater Capital Region, on public access channel 18 (in Ilion, on channel 99) at 9 a.m., noon and 4 p.m. Christmas Day; * for Time Warner Cable subscribers in the Ilion area, on channel 99 at 9 a.m., noon and 4 p.m. Christmas Day; * for Time Warner Cable subscribers in the Oneonta area, on channel 23 at 10 a.m. Christmas Day; * for Time Warner Cable subscribers in the Herkimer area, on channel 99 at 12:01 a.m. and 8 a.m. Christmas Day; * for cable TV subscribers in the Schenectady area, on Open Stage Media channel 16 at 5 p.m. Christmas Eve and 1 p.m. Christmas Day; and * for cable TV subscribers in the Town of Bethlehem, on channel 18 at midnight (12 a.m.) and 8 a.m. Christmas Day.
