Diocesan schools get $165K grant

The New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) has awarded the Albany Diocesan School Board, on behalf of its Catholic elementary schools, $165,000 to implement addiction prevention programs in five Catholic elementary schools in Albany, Troy, Schenectady, Ballston Spa and Glen Falls.

Holy Spirit School Raises $1,000 for Make-A-Wish

During a morning assembly at Holy Spirit School of East Greenbush, faculty and staff presented Make-A-Wish Northeast New York with a check of $1,000, the total amount of school raised donations for the chapter’s Adopt-A-Wish Holiday Campaign.
