Three Eucharistic Encounters set for the “Historic Albany Parish Network”
The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Albany is planning to begin 40 hours of weekly Eucharistic Adoration on June 4. Part of the evangelization effort includes three days of presentations by Father Andrew Marshall, a priest missionary from Scotland, from May 18-21 at the “Historic Albany Parish Network.” Father Marshall, a priest chaplain for the Adoratio foundation, will inspire us to deepen our relationship with Jesus, our Lord and God, through the Eucharist. Each evening begins with 6:30 p.m., Mass, a 45-minute presentation, and concludes with Eucharistic Exposition and Adoration until 8:30 p.m. A freewill offering is optional.
The schedule is as follows:
On Monday, May 18, the first Eucharistic Encounter titled “Believing is Seeing” will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church (391 Delaware Ave.) from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
On Tuesday, May 19, the second Eucharistic Encounter titled “The Sacred Heart and the most Holy Eucharist” will be held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (125 Eagle St.) from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
On Thursday, May 21, the third Eucharistic Encounter titled “O Bread of Heaven” will be held at Historic Saint Mary’s Church (10 Lodge St.) from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
