Ballston Spa
Vatican International Exhibit of Eucharistic Miracles sponsored by St. Mary’s Church in Ballston Spa. On Friday, March 13, at 6 p.m., the movie “Carlo Acutis: Roadmap to Reality” will be shown in the school auditorium. On Saturday, March 14, the exhibit will be open in the school from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. On Sunday, March 15, there will be a talk on Eucharistic Miracles and St. Carlo Acutis at 9:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. There will also be first-class relics for veneration.

Friday Fish Dinners at the Church of the Immaculate Conception Parish Center (400 Saratoga Road) from 4-6:30 p.m., or until sold out. Hosted by the Knights of Columbus, join us for the remaining Fridays in March (13, 20, 27) for a fish dinner during Lent. Indoor dining will consist of your choice of fried or baked haddock, fries or baked potato, along with coleslaw, dessert, coffee or drink. Takeout orders of fried haddock, fried potato, coleslaw and dessert are available. All dinners are $15. Mac and cheese dinners are available for children 6 years and under for $5. Little Falls
Holy Family Parish in Little Falls is hosting a Potluck Lenten Soup Supper in their gym (763 E. Main St.) after Stations of the Cross. The gym will be open at 5 p.m. to drop off food and drinks. Stations of the Cross start at 5:30 p.m. in the church, followed by the soup supper. Attendees are asked to bring their favorite meatless soup, bread or nonalcoholic drink to share. Annual Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner hosted by the Latham-Colonie Knights of Columbus #3394 (328 Troy-Schenectady Road) from 4-7 p.m. Menu includes corned beef and cabbage, potatoes and carrots, Irish soda bread (made in-house), dessert, coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Corned Beef Dinner to benefit the Special Olympics at Our Lady of the Valley (111 Wells Ave.) in the parish hall on Chestnut Lane from 4-6 p.m. A traditional homemade corned beef dinner with cabbage, potatoes, carrots, and, of course, soda bread will be served. Suggested donation $17. Takeout available. Proceeds to benefit our athletes competing in the Special Olympics of the Capital District. Sponsored collaboratively by Knights of Columbus Council #4475, Middleburgh Cub Scouts and the Our Lady of the Valley Cafe.
Tribes Hill
Spaghetti Dinner at Sacred Heart Church (111 Third Ave.) from noon to 4 p.m., in the parish hall. Dinner includes spaghetti and meatballs, bread/butter, salad, dessert and beverage. The cost for dinner is $12 for adults and $5 for children ages 5 and under. Takeout is available by calling (518) 829-7301. There will be basket raffles, 50/50 raffles and cash raffles as well. This is a wonderful community event with great food.

Lucky Bucket Extravaganza hosted by the Altar Society of St. Mary of the Assumption Church (corner of Sixth and Division Streets) from 12-2:30 p.m. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. The admission of $10 includes lunch, beverages, dessert and a ticket for the door prize. The Lucky Bucket features dozens of baskets donated by friends, families and businesses. Lenten Presentation by Father James Kane at St. Paul the Apostle Parish Center (2777 Albany St.) at 10 a.m. Father Kane has served as the Ecumenical Director for the Diocese of Albany since 1982. He will explain the three main branches of Christianity — Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant — and speak about the 70 Christian denominations in our Diocese. He will also explain why Catholic Bibles have 73 books, Protestant bibles have 66, and Orthodox bibles have 78. Father Kane has been a key leader in interfaith and ecumenical work in the Capital Region for decades. He has led dialogue groups with Orthodox, Jewish and Muslim communities and has taught ecumenism and interfaith topics in diocesan formation programs.
