NEW PASTORAL ASSIGNMENTS
Bishop Mark O’Connell is pleased to announce the following pastoral assignments:
Father Adam Feisthamel has been named parochial vicar of St. Joseph’s in Fort Edward and St. Mary’s/St. Paul’s in Hudson Falls, replacing Father Charles Onyeneke, effective July 1.
Father Matthew Wetsel has been named pastor of St. Ambrose in Latham, replacing Father Brian Kelly, effective Oct. 1.
Father Quy Vo has been named pastor of Holy Spirit in Gloversville and Holy Trinity in Johnstown, replacing Father Wetsel, effective Oct. 1. (Note: The new pastor of Holy Spirit in East Greenbush and Sacred Heart in Castleton is yet to be determined).
Father Donald Rutherford will be stepping away as Vicar for Clergy, effective June 15. He will remain pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Watervliet and continue to be the liaison to the retired and senior clergy. Father Bob Longobucco will cover the responsibilities of the Vicar for Clergy until further notice.
Father Jordan McConway, OP, has been named parochial vicar of Our Lady of Victory in Troy and Our Lady of the Snow in Grafton, and assistant chaplain and Catholic campus minister of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. This move is effective July 1
Father Timothy Ennis, O. Carm, has been named pastor of Holy Spirit in East Greenbush and Sacred Heart in Castleton. This move is effective Oct. 1.
