Holy Family Parish Bible Study (763 E. Main Street) at 6 p.m., following the 5:30 p.m. Tuesday Mass. Deacon Wade is leading a Bible study on the first and third Tuesdays of the month in the parish gym. The group is studying the book of Ephesians. Bring a Bible, a notebook and a friend. Here’s the schedule: Sept. 1: Chapter 2; Sept. 15: Chapter 3; Oct. 6: Chapter 4; Oct. 20: Chapter 5; Nov. 3: Chapter 6; Nov. 17: Review the Bible study.

Friday Fish Fry at Saratoga Knights of Columbus Council #246 (50 Pine Road) from 5-7 p.m. Due to the increased cost of ingredients, the price of our dinners has changed. Fried or baked fish dinners are $18 and a clam dinner is $15. Dinners include fries, coleslaw, tartar sauce, and cocktail sauce. Dutch Apple Cruise Tickets to Benefit Christ Our Light Food Pantry: Enjoy a beautiful cruise around the Hudson River while benefiting our food pantry! Boarding for the cruise begins at 10 a.m. (141 Broadway, Albany, next to USS Slater) and runs from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tickets are available in the parish office (1 Maria Drive, Loudonville) and after Mass on Aug. 29-30 and Sept. 5-6. A Day of Reflection: “Birthing Jesus In Our Lives,” hosted by the Gentle Woman of Praise Chapter of Magnificat at the Sisters of the Resurrection Provincial House (35 Bolt­wood Ave.) from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Join us for a day of spiritual renewal! The Day of Reflec­tion will include adoration, rosary, the Sacrament of Recon­ciliation, Mass, a reflection by Deacon Gary Riggi, prayer and praise. Please bring your own bag lunch and beverage. Annual Takeout (Drive-thru) Polish Dinner at The Church of St. Adalbert (550 Lansing St.) from 2-6 p.m. at its parish center. The dinners are $18 each and consist of one golabki (stuffed cabbage), two pierogi (potato and cheese), kielbasa, kapusta (sauerkraut and pork) and rye bread. The Annual Diocesan Marriage Jubilee Celebration at Christ Our Light Catholic Church (1 Maria Drive) at 3 p.m. Couples marking any special wedding anniversary are invited to attend this celebration which honors the enduring bond of love and strengthens the sense of community among couples within the Albany Diocese! Bishop Mark will celebrate the Liturgy at 3 p.m. and greet couples and their guests at a reception in the parish hall immediately following Mass, with an opportunity for photos with each couple.
