Emotional and Spiritual Grounding for Caregivers at the Dominican Retreat & Conference Center (1945 Union St.) from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Offered both in-person and online via Zoom. Caregiving asks more than time and energy — it asks us to remain present in moments that can feel uncertain, overwhelming or emotionally complex. This program invites caregivers to explore what it means to stay grounded not only emotionally, but spiritually, remaining engaged with both self and God in the midst of daily demands. Holy Family Parish Bible Study (763 E. Main Street) at 6 p.m., following the 5:30 p.m. Tuesday Mass. Deacon Wade is leading a Bible study on the first and third Tuesdays of the month in the parish gym. The group is studying the book of Ephesians. Bring a Bible, a notebook and a friend. Here’s the schedule: Aug. 18: Chapter 1; Sept. 1: Chapter 2; Sept. 15: Chapter 3; Oct. 6: Chapter 4; Oct. 20: Chapter 5; Nov. 3: Chapter 6; Nov. 17: Review the Bible study.

Friday Fish Fry at Saratoga Knights of Columbus Council #246 (50 Pine Road) from 5-7 p.m. Due to the increased cost of ingredients, the price of our dinners has changed. Fried or baked fish dinners are $18 and a clam dinner is $15. Dinners include fries, coleslaw, tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. Dutch Apple Cruise Tickets to Benefit Christ Our Light Food Pantry: Enjoy a beautiful cruise around the Hudson River while benefiting our food pantry! Boarding for the cruise begins at 10 a.m. (141 Broadway, Albany, next to USS Slater) and runs from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tickets are available in the parish office (1 Maria Drive, Loudonville) and after Mass on Aug. 29-30 and Sept. 5-6. A Day of Reflection: “Birthing Jesus In Our Lives,” hosted by the Gentle Woman of Praise Chapter of Magnificat at the Sisters of the Resurrection Provincial House (35 Boltwood Ave.) from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Join us for a day of spiritual renewal! Bishop Mark will celebrate the Liturgy at 3 p.m. and greet couples and their guests at a reception in the parish hall immediately following Mass, with an opportunity for photos with each couple.
