Octavo Singers’ Spring Concert: The Octavo Singers present an afternoon of lyric beauty and emotional intensity at 3 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church (806 Union St.). This performance is a rare opportunity to encounter a richly textured work that few audiences have the chance to hear live. Paired with “Schicksalslied,” Johannes Brahms’ luminous meditation on fate and transcendence, the program offers a compelling exploration of human longing across cultures and centuries.
