Holy Week at St. Joseph’s Church (600 State St.): Join us on Holy Thursday, April 2, for the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Procession of the Blessed Sacrament to the Repository. The church will be open until 9 p.m. for public adoration. On Good Friday, April 3, the church will open at 12 p.m. for private meditation with the following services during the day: The Seven Last Words at 12:15 p.m., Stations of the Cross at 2:30 p.m., and the Liturgy of the Passion and Death of our Lord, including Veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion, at 3 p.m. On Holy Saturday, April 4, the Blessing of Easter Foods will be at 11 a.m. and the Great Easter Vigil Service will be at 8 p.m. – the Mass of the Resurrection will be hosted by St. Luke’s Church only. There will not be a 5:30 p.m. Mass this Saturday. Easter Sunday, April 5, the Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 9:30 a.m.

Good Friday events at Our Lady of the Valley (111 Wells Ave.): Join us for a Good Friday of prayer and community, starting with our Ecumenical Way of the Cross at 12 p.m. Later, join us for “Women of Jerusalem, “a prayer service discussing faith stories of encountering Jesus, at 2 p.m. And finally, pick up a delicious fried haddock dinner with a roll, coleslaw and French fries prepared by the Knights of Columbus at the Our Lady of the Valley parking lot from 4-6 p.m. $15 donation.

Menu includes: scrambled eggs, an omelet station, home fries, corned beef hash, bacon and sausage, pancakes and French toast served with warm syrup, a variety of cereals and juices, bananas and hot tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Adults are $15, children (5-10) are $6 and children under 5 are free.
