Pilgrimage of Hope for Creation to the Kateri Shrine (3636 NY-5, Fonda) from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Join us for the 10th anniversary of Pope Francis’ encyclical “Laudato Si’ ” and the 800th anniversary of St. Francis’ Canticle of Creation during the Jubilee Year of Hope. The shrine is a pilgrimage site for the jubilee. Some plans for the day: Stations of the Cross in Light of Laudato Si’, the Glorious Mysteries of Creation, a meditation walk to the spring where Kateri was baptized, a reflection by Melissa Miscevic Bramble, director, titled “St. Kateri — The Bride of Christ and Example for the Ages,” and a reflection by Terry, Algonquin nation, on “Native Spirituality and Catholicism.” The day ends with liturgy at 4:30 p.m.

Kane Mountain Hike with Holy Family Parish: Join us for this beautiful fall hike! This is a relatively easy hike, about 1.5 miles. Please wear appropriate shoes. Families will meet at 2 p.m. in the parking lot of Holy Family Parish (9763 E. Main St.). We will carpool over to the mountain and will be back between 5-5:30 p.m. All participants will receive a Catholic sticker for their water bottle.
