40 DAYS FOR LIFE
Join the faithful in the Diocese of Albany for 40 Days for Life, a 40-day fall campaign of peaceful prayer, fasting and witness. Join people all across the country and throughout the world for the unborn from Wednesday, Sept. 24, through Sunday, Nov. 2.
Prior abortion workers have said that as many as 75 percent of women scheduled for an abortion don’t show when people are there praying, and many women who have had abortions have said if just one person had asked them to keep their baby they would have let the child live. With God’s help, here are the proven results: 25,000 babies saved, more than 170 facilities closed and more than 270 converted workers.
Please be that person for women and be their sign from God that He wants them to have their baby. Let them know that Jesus will help them. Make an appointment with God on the streets and come to a 40 Days for Life event near you.

Inspiring talk set for Oct. 11:
Dr. Haywood Robinson, a former abortion provider and director of medical affairs and education for 40 Days for Life, will tell the story of this groundbreaking effort on Saturday, Oct. 11. Robinson will speak at the vigil site from noon-1 p.m. “People in this area have made extraordinary sacrifices to expose the abortion industry and to protect pre-born children and their mothers from abortion,” Robinson said. “I’m honored to be able to join these folks in prayer. Their efforts illustrate why we’re seeing historic changes — more mothers choosing life, more abortion workers experiencing conversions and leaving the abortion industry, and more abortion centers closing their doors for good.”
Robinson has participated in numerous campaigns throughout the world — including across the United States and Africa. Robinson and his late wife, Noreen, also wrote their powerful testimony in the recently published book “Scalpel and the Soul.”
