100th Anniversary Celebration of the North American Martyrs Beatification at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Martyrs (136 Shrine Road) from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The museum will be open with tours available. The day includes Eucharistic adoration, Mass, confession, Blessing of Martyrs Candle Shrine, exposition and Eucharistic procession, and more. Eucharistic Procession at St. Edward the Confessor (569 Clifton Park Center Road): We are excited to announce our first Eucharistic Procession! Join us after the 11 a.m. Mass on Corpus Christi Sunday. St. Edward parishioners are invited to join us in a Eucharistic Procession as we depart from the church parking lot and cross Clifton Park Center Road into the neighborhoods of the Clifton Knolls, walking the residential streets in a mile-long loop before returning back to the church.

Eucharistic Procession for the Feast of Corpus Christi: Please join in our celebration of the Feast of Corpus Christi at St. Joseph’s Church (231 2nd St.) from 1-3 p.m. The Eucharist will be exposed on the altar during the usual adoration time (starting at 10 a.m.) until the procession begins at 1 p.m. After preparations and opening prayers, we will process outside and around the block singing praise to our Lord in the Eucharist, rain or shine. Hospitality will immediately follow in the church’s gathering space. We welcome desserts or finger foods to share. Paper products and water provided. Please make it a priority to spend this special afternoon with Jesus as we make Him present in public for His glory and praise. Please invite your friends and neighbors to join us!

Men’s Group Picnic/Meeting: Our Combined Men’s Group (from the Church of the Holy Spirit and Holy Trinity Church) will hold a picnic/meeting at Spirit Central, located in the school building at Holy Spirit Church (151 South Main St.). The menu will consist of burgers, hot dogs, salads and dessert. Donation is $10. Beer and soda will be available for purchase. Our guest speaker will be Rich Nigro who will talk about his recent trip to the Camino de Santiago in Spain. All men are welcome to attend.

Free Opioid Overdose Training Seminar at St. Paul’s Church (346 West Main St.) at 6 p.m. in the Father Rausch Hall. This training takes approximately two hours and is presented by a NYS OASAS opioid overdose training specialist. Topics include addressing stigma, NYS 911 Good Samaritan Laws, overdose risk factors, recognizing and responding to an overdose, administration of naloxone, and reporting naloxone use. Silver Sneakers Classic Strength and Balance Class at St. Edward the Confessor Church (569 Clifton Park Center Road) from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The Silver Sneakers Classic is a beginner-friendly strength and endurance class for seniors designed to be safe and effective. The focus is on improving strength, balance and range of motion. The class often utilizes chairs and handheld weights or resistance tubing. Festa 2025 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish (1255 Pleasant St.): Join us for a weekend of food, faith and fun! The weekend kicks off on Friday, July 11, with a 9 a.m. Mass in honor of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. A reception will follow Mass in the parish center. The day continues with a garage sale (offered both Friday and Saturday) from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. On Saturday, July 12, a Festa pasta dinner and bake sale is available from 4-7 p.m. Menu includes cavatelli and meatballs, linguini with clam sauce, pasta fagioli, and more. A 50/50 drawing and raffle is available. Save the date!

Polka Mass under the big tent kicks off the weekend on Saturday, July 12, at 4 p.m. The Polish kitchen opens at 5 p.m. on Saturday with homemade pierogis, homemade golumpki, kielbasa, homemade kaput and a Polish platter. American food is also available. Enjoy the other festivities: fried dough, hourly 50/50 drawings, raffles, children’s games and face painting, Polish vendors, a dessert booth and draft/ Polish beer.
