RESOLUTION NO. 791

The bond resolution, a summary of which is published herewith, has been adopted on December 2, 2024, and the validity of the obligations authorized by such resolution may be hereafter contested only if (1) (a) such obligations were authorized for an object or purpose for which the County of Albany, New York is not authorized to expend money, or (b) the provisions of law which should have been complied with as of the date of publication of this Notice were not substantially complied with, and an action, suit or proceeding contesting such validity is commenced within twenty days after the date of publication of this notice, or (2) such obligations were authorized in violation of the provisions of the Constitution.

A complete copy of the resolution summarized herewith is available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Office of the County Clerk for a period of twenty days from the date of publication of this Notice.

BOND RESOLUTION OF THE COUNTY OF ALBANY, NEW YORK, ADOPTED DECEMBER __, 2024, AUTHORIZING THE UNDERTAKING OF GREEN CAPITAL PROJECTS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES, STATING THE ESTIMATED MAXIMUM COST THEREOF IS $8,000,000, APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT THEREFOR, AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $8,000,000 OF SERIAL BONDS OF SAID COUNTY TO FINANCE SAID APPROPRIATION.

Specific object or purpose:

Green Capital Projects consisting of the decarburization of County operations through capital investment

including, but not limited to, the installation of 52 electronic vehicle charging stations in the MVP Arena garage with infrastructure to support 72 electronic vehicle charging stations, for use by the Albany County fleet and the public the installation of a carport solar photovoltaic canopy on the 6th floor of the MVP Arena garage with ancillary equipment located on the ground level and the associated electronic interconnection, together with any necessary site work and the acquisition and installation of furnishings, equipment, machinery and apparatus for the foregoing purposes, together with the preparation of planning, engineering and feasibility studies and review, as further described in the County’s 20252029 Capital Program, as amended and supplemented (hereinafter referred to as the “Capital Program’).

Period of probable usefulness:

Ten years

Maximum Estimated Cost: $8,000,000

Amount of obligations to be issued: $8,000,000
