Bilingual Celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (125 Eagle St.) from 6-8:30 p.m. This event celebrates the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. There will be Adoration and bilingual confessions at 6 p.m., with a rosary to begin at 6:25 p.m. Mass is at 7 p.m., and includes a consecration to Jesus through Mary. The celebrant is Bishop Emeritus Edward B. Scharfenberger. Parking is available in the adjoining Madison Lot, available after 4 p.m.
Scotia
Caroling, Cookies and Cocoa at St. Joseph’s Church (231 Second St.) at 7 p.m. Join us for 6 p.m. Mass then we will carol around St. Joseph’s neighborhood. Then we come back to Holy Family Hall for cookies and hot cocoa! This is a super-fun event for adults, kids, teens and families. We hope to see you all there!
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13
Schenectady
Holiday Craft Show and Bake Sale, hosted by the Rosary Altar Society of St. John the Evangelist Church, at the Parish Center (806 Union St.) from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The event will feature many regional vendors, raffles, refreshments including homemade macaroni and cheese, chili, chicken soup, pizza, hot dogs and more. Please come and join in the fun! Admission is free.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 14
Corinth
Christmas Caroling with Holy Mother and Child Church (405 Palmer Ave.) at 6:30 p.m. We will head down Palmer Avenue. There will be cookies and hot cocoa in the parish center after we are done singing. Please come and join us!

“Breakfast with Santa” hosted by the Latham-Colonie Columbiettes from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the Latham-Colonie Knights of Columbus Council (328 Troy-Schenectady Road). Menu includes: scrambled eggs, an omelet station, home fries, corned beef hash, bacon and sausage, pancakes and French toast served with warm syrup, a variety of cereals and juices, bananas and hot tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Peace in the Womb Pro-Life Christmas Caroling in front of Planned Parenthood (1040 State St.) from 2-3 p.m. Please join us for an hour of Christmas caroling to bring hope and joy to this place of misery and despair. Children’s lives have been saved when their mothers heard the carols and reconsidered their “choice” in light of the Christmas story. Dress for the weather for this outdoor event. All we need are voices! We’ll have songbooks and an empty manger to gather around.
