Fish and Mac and Cheese Dinner at Holy Spirit Church (153 S Main St.) from 4-6:30 p.m. Fish, mac and cheese, coleslaw, roll, and dessert for $15, or mac and cheese, coleslaw roll and dessert for $10. Tickets will be sold after Masses the weekend of April 6. Tickets are also available at the parish office.

“Aging in Recovery” One-Day Retreat at the Dominican Spiritual Life Center (1945 Union St.) from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. This retreat is designed specifically for individuals over 60 who are engaged in recovery from any addiction (AA, NA, OA, etc.) This day includes talks on spirituality, health, friendship and community, group discussions, mindful movement sessions tailored for all abilities, and opportunities for personal reflection and expression. Spring Bake Sale at St. Adalbert Church (550 Lansing St.) in the parish center. Join us Saturday, April 12, from 12-3 p.m., and Sunday, April 13, from 12-1:30 p.m. Featured items for sale include our parish-baked babka (Polish sweet bread), pies, pizzas (Polish and breakfast), and a variety of other baked goods. All proceeds go to the bake sale’s host: the Altar Rosary & Holy Name Societies.

Palm Saturday and Sunday Bake Sale at St. Anthony’s Church Hall (331 Seward Place). Saturday, April 12, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, April 13, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. A variety of baked goods are available: rice pie, biscotti, cream puffs, cannoli, guanti, pepper cookies, wine cookies, and more!

Semi-Annual Spring Stamp & Postal History Show at the Albany American Legion (4 Everett Road Extension) from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Event features 16 dealers with exhibit stamps, covers, postcards, postal history and ephemera materials. Children will receive free packets of stamps and covers. Hosted by the Fort Orange Stamp Club (FOSC).

Columbiettes Breakfast at the Latham-Colonie Knights of Columbus (328 Troy Schenectady Road) from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Spring has finally arrived! Stop in for a hearty and delicious breakfast. Menu includes scrambled eggs, an omelet station, home fries, bacon, sausage, corned beef hash, pancakes, French toast with warm syrup, cereal and bananas, bread, pastries, juice, coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. Please note no food can be taken out unless you purchase a takeout breakfast! Adults are $13, children 5-10 are $6, and under 5 are free.

Outdoor Stations of the Cross hosted by the Albany Catholic Worker on Good Friday at noon in downtown Albany. Join us as we gather in Academy Park, near the corner of Eagle Street and Elk Street.
