Cavatelli Dinner at St. Anthony’s Church (331 Seward Place) from 4-7 p.m. on both days. Dinner includes cavatelli (choice of meatball, sausage or combo), salad, homemade Italian bread and cannoli, or upgrade to sfogliatelle for $4. All orders must be made online at stanthonyschurch.net. All Friday orders must be placed by Thursday, Oct. 24; all Saturday orders must be placed by Friday, Oct. 25. Please pay at pick-up! Cash or check only. Checks payable to Sacred Heart League. 

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26

Glenville

Trunk-or-Treat at Immaculate Conception Church (400 Saratoga Road) from 1-4 p.m. The parish Faith Formation team is excited to host a sweet and safe trick-or-treating event for the community! There will be music, kids’ games and candy.

Schenectady

Altar Rosary Society Craft/Vendor Fair at Our Lady Queen of Peace (210 Prince­town Road) in the parish gym from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. A variety of handcrafted wares will be available from local vendors. Food will be available to purchase, including a bake sale. Safe trick-or-treating, kids’ games, Halloween costume parade and more. Proceeds will help support the parish’s needs.

Waterford 

Trunk-or-Treat at St. Mary of the Assumption (119 Broad St.) in the Parish Hall parking lot from 1-3 p.m. All are welcome! If you would like to participate in decorating a vehicle and handing out candy, please call Sharon at (518) 669-6081. 

MONDAY, OCTOBER 28

Charismatic Renewal Mass at St. Paul the Apostle Church (2777 Albany St.) The evening begins with Prayer and Praise at 6:45 p.m., followed by our Mass at 7 p.m. Healing prayer will be offered after Mass. This Mass is recurring on the fourth Monday of every month.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29

Waterford

October Senior Tuesday at St. Mary’s Church, Crescent (86 Church Hill Road) in the parish hall at 1 p.m. Seniors, we will celebrate Halloween on Tuesday, Oct. 29! Come in full costume, wearing a few decorations, or come as you are!  Lunch is Halloween themed, so we’ll leave it up to your creativity if you want to share some food. We hope you can join us for some fun and good food!

Bus Trip to Resorts Casino with the Sacred Heart Women’s Group: The Sacred Heart Women’s Group is hosting an event open to the public! Join us for a Yankee Trails bus trip to Resorts Casino in Monticello. The bus departs from Sacred Heart (310 Spring Ave.) at 7:45 a.m. and returns at 6:30 p.m. Estimated cost is $45, which includes a $25 free play bonus and a $15 food voucher. “Requiem: What Remains Is Love” concert at St. Luke’s Catholic Church (1241 State St.) at 3 p.m. Back for its third year, this year’s Requiem concert will feature an expanded chorus! Composed and conducted by St. Luke’s Maria Riccio Bryce, come experience the beautifully haunting and moving sounds of Requiem, performed in honor of All Souls Day.

Eucharistic Adoration on Election Day at St. Paul the Apostle Church (2777 Albany St.) from 6 a.m.-9 p.m. Please come for one-half hour (or more) to pray before the Blessed Sacrament on Election Day.
