RESOLUTION NO. 684 OF 2024

The bond resolution, a summary of which is published herewith, has been adopted on November 12, 2024, and the validity of the obligations authorized by such resolution may be hereafter contested only if (1) (a) such obligations were authorized for an object or purpose for which the County of Albany, New York is not authorized to expend money, or (b) the provisions of law which should have been complied with as of the date of publication of this Notice were not substantially complied with, and an action, suit or proceeding contesting such validity is commenced within twenty days after the date of publication of this notice, or (2) such obligations were authorized in violation of the provisions of the Constitution.

SUPPLEMENTAL BOND RESOLUTION DATED NOVEMBER 12, 2024. A RESOLUTION AMENDING CERTAIN TERMS OF BOND RESOLUTION NO. 152 OF 2024 OF THE COUNTY OF ALBANY, NEW YORK, ADOPTED MARCH 11, 2024,

AUTHORIZING VARIOUS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR COUNTY OWNED GARAGES AND PARKING FACILITIES, STATING THE ESTIMATED MAXIMUM COST THEREOF IS $3,000,000, APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT THEREFOR, AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $3,000,000 OF SERIAL BONDS OF SAID COUNTY TO FINANCE A PORTION OF SAID APPROPRIATION.

1. Specific object or purpose: Various County parking facility improvement projects located in Albany County, New York. The

improvement projects consist of construction, reconstruction and renovation of new and existing highway garages and related office space at various County subdivisions, including any necessary site work and the

acquisition and installation of furnishings, equipment, machinery and apparatus for the foregoing purposes, together with the preparation of planning, engineering and feasibility studies and review, as further described in the 2025 Capital Plan in the County’s 2025-2029 Capital Program, as amended and supplemented. Period of probable usefulness: Thirty years

Maximum Estimated Cost: $3,000,000

Amount of obligations to be issued: $3,000,000

Specific object or purpose: Capital project for Shaker Place Rehabilitation and Nursing Center (SPRNC), which shall include purchasing stretcher-capable vans or transportation of residents of SPRNC to off-site appointments.

Period of probable usefulness: Five years

BOND RESOLUTION OF THE COUNTY OF ALBANY, NEW YORK, ADOPTED NOVEMBER 12, 2024, AUTHORIZING PURCHASING FOOD SERVICE CAFÉ AND DISTRIBUTION EQUIPMENT FOR SHAKER PLACE REHABILITATION AND NURSING CENTER (“SPRNC”) AND CONVERTING EMPLOYEE DINING AREA TO A MULTI-USE CAFÉ WITH EQUIPMENT TO PREPARE, STORE, AND SELL FOOD TO STAFF AT SPRNC, STATING THE ESTIMATED   MAXIMUM    COST THEREOF IS $500,000, APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT THEREFOR, AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $500,000 OF SERIAL BONDS OF SAID COUNTY TO FINANCE SAID APPROPRIATION.

Specific object or purpose: Capital project for the Shaker Place Rehabilitation and Nursing Center (“SPRNC”), which shall include purchasing food service café and distribution equipment and converting employee dining area to a multi-use café with equipment to prepare, store, and sell food to staff at the SPRNC.

Period of probable usefulness: Five years

Amount of obligations to be issued: $500,000
