Brooks BBQ at the Church of St. Clare (1947 Central Ave) from 4-6:30 p.m. The Church of St. Clare is hosting a Brooks BBQ to benefit their food pantry! Meals are $15 (cash or check only). Tickets on sale through St. Clare’s parish office during regular office hours. Pre-orders are recommended.

Ballston Lake

Party on the Porch at Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home (21 Midline Rd.) from 6-9 p.m. We are thrilled to announce the return of our highly anticipated annual event: Party on the Porch! Join us for an evening of music, dancing and good old-fashioned fun. The event is open to the public and admission is free. Just bring your chairs and favorite beverages to enjoy the entertainment. Live music provided by Grand Central Station. Additionally, pizza and ice cream sundaes will be available for purchase. Don’t miss out on the chance to participate in our 50-50 drawing, with all proceeds benefiting the BH-BL Giving Tree Foundation, Inc. In case of inclement weather, the rain date for the event is Sunday, June 23.

Hoosick Falls

A Night with Kevin McGuire & Friends at Immaculate Conception Church (67 Main St.) Kevin has gathered some friends and has generously agreed to do a concert as a fundraiser for the continued renovation of the church building. You most likely know his friends: Mea Cleary, Ric and Alex DiDonato, Shari Hand and David Sutton. Light fare and desserts will be served. There will be a cash bar with wine/beer and a silent auction. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased at the parish office by calling (518) 686-5064, Thorpe’s Pharmacy (John Street, Hoosick Falls) or online at EventBrite, which will charge you a small service fee.

Scotia/Glenville

“Undie Sunday” Collection: Our collection will be taking place at St. Joseph’s (231 Second St., Scotia) and Immaculate Conception (400 Saratoga Road, Glenville). We are collecting underwear for men, women and children. Under­wear is always the number one request to a homeless shelter.

MONDAY, JUNE 24

Scotia

Strawberry Night at St. Joseph’s Church (231 Second St.) following the 6 p.m. Mass. Bring a strawberry treat to share! We will provide strawberry shortcake ingredients and beverages. Sign up on the bulletin board in Holy Family Hall. Reservations are not required but appreciated for setup purposes. Invite a family member or friend!

Glenville

BBQ Chicken Dinner at Immaculate Conception Church Parking Lot (Route 50 Glenville) from 4-7 p.m. or until sold out. Dinners are provided by Miller’s Backyard BBQ and consist of chicken or pulled pork meals. Menu includes 1/2 chicken or pork option with coleslaw, baked potato and cornbread. Drive-thru and takeout only! Dinners are $15; cash or check only! Make checks payable to the Knights of Columbus.

Volunteer Day with the Sisters of Life: The Sisters of Life are always looking for volunteers to help them with several projects at their priory (24 Harri­son St.), with their next volunteer day on July 13. The day begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. with a break for Mass and lunch (provided) at 12 p.m. You are welcome to come for the whole day or just part of it. This is a wonderful volunteer opportunity for any individual, family or group that is looking to give back. Young and old are welcome! No registration needed, simply mail Sister Bethlehem at [email protected] to let her know you plan on helping so they can plan for your arrival.

St. Joseph’s Summer Festival: Join us at St. Joseph’s Church (7 North St.) for a weekend of summer fun for the whole family! Fried dough, Villa Italia, pastries, burgers, hot dogs, sausage and papers, soft drinks, and a beer and seltzer tent. For the kids, a 60-foot bounce castle, obstacle course, bounce house, games and prizes, business vendors, craft baskets, craft tables, live music on stage, and more! Rain or shine.
