Party on the Porch at Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home (21 Midline Rd.) from 6-9 p.m. We are thrilled to announce the return of our highly anticipated annual event: Party on the Porch! Join us for an evening of music, dancing and good old-fashioned fun. The event is open to the public and admission is free. Just bring your chairs and favorite beverages to enjoy the entertainment. Live music provided by Grand Central Station. Additionally, pizza and ice cream sundaes will be available for purchase. A Night with Kevin McGuire & Friends at Immaculate Conception Church (67 Main St.) Kevin has gathered some friends and has generously agreed to do a concert as a fundraiser for the continued renovation of the church building. You most likely know his friends: Mea Cleary, Ric and Alex DiDonato, Shari Hand and David Sutton. Light fare and desserts will be served. There will be a cash bar with wine/beer and a silent auction. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased at the parish office by calling (518) 686-5064, Thorpe’s Pharmacy (John Street, Hoosick Falls) or online at EventBrite, which will charge you a small service fee.

“Undie Sunday” Collection: Our collection will be taking place at St. Joseph’s (231 Second St., Scotia) and Immaculate Conception (400 Saratoga Road, Glenville). We are collecting underwear for men, women and children. Underwear is always the number one request to a homeless shelter.

Strawberry Night at St. Joseph’s Church (231 Second St.) following the 6 p.m. Mass. Bring a strawberry treat to share! We will provide strawberry shortcake ingredients and beverages. Sign up on the bulletin board in Holy Family Hall. Reservations are not required but appreciated for setup purposes. Invite a family member or friend!

Volunteer Day with the Sisters of Life: The Sisters of Life are always looking for volunteers to help them with several projects at their priory (24 Harrison St.), with their next volunteer day on July 13. The day begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. with a break for Mass and lunch (provided) at 12 p.m. You are welcome to come for the whole day or just part of it. This is a wonderful volunteer opportunity for any individual, family or group that is looking to give back. Young and old are welcome!
