JUNE 7-8

Cohoes

Giant Indoor Garage Sale at Holy Trinity Church (1 Ste. Marie Lane). Join us for a weekend of fun! Our sale continues Friday, June 7, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday, June 8, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The Ladies of Ste. Anne will be holding a bake sale as well. Food available for purchase.

JUNE 7-8-9

Schenectady

Annual Festa at St. Anthony’s Church (331 Seward Place). This Festa has been a tradition in Schenectady for many years. The street procession with the statue of St. Anthony will begin at 1 p.m. on June 9. The procession will include recitation of the Rosary with singing and end at the church with Adoration and Benediction.

FRIDAY, JUNE 7

Albany

The Albany Chapter of the Nocturnal Adoration Society at St. Francis of Assisi Church (391 Delaware Ave.) meets from 7:15 p.m.-8:15 p.m. Our chapter meets every first Friday of the month. Please use the side entrance (handicap ramp.) All are welcome! Free will offering is appreciated.

Glenville

BBQ Chicken Dinner at Immaculate Conception Church Parking Lot (400 Saratoga Rd.) from 4-7 p.m. or until sold out. Dinners are provided by Miller’s Backyard BBQ. Menu includes a half-chicken or pork option with coleslaw, baked potato and cornbread. Drive-thru and takeout only! Dinners are $15; cash or check only. Please make checks payable to the Knights of Columbus.

Hoosick Falls

Friday Free Lunch at Immaculate Conception Church (67 Main St.) from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the church hall. Friday lunches are back! The menu includes hamburgers & hotdogs. Come break bread with your neighbors!

Schenectady

Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Mass and First Friday Devotional Services at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church (600 State St., corner of State and Lafayette) following the 12:15 p.m. Mass. Join us this Friday for a special Mass, followed by Devotions to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, including Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. The public is cordially invited. St. Joseph’s Church is handicapped accessible and parking is available in the parking lot behind the church.

Rexford

Farewell Luncheon at the Edison Club (891 Riverview Road) hosted by the Schenec­tady Chapter of The College of St. Rose Alumni. We will gather at 12:30 p.m. for a lunch buffet at 1 p.m. The program will include recognition of chapter officers and board members, a vote by the membership on the dissolution of the chapter, and a discussion on the future of our membership. Annual St. Mary’s Golf Outing (adults only) at Saratoga Lake Golf Club (35 Gracemoore Road) at 11 a.m. New date and new beautiful location! $135 per person gives you 18 holes of golf, a cart, individual boxed lunches, and a delicious dinner to wrap up the day.
