During this event, Shawn Allen will review the meaning of Exegesis and model the practice on Paul’s Leaven Allegory (1 Corinthians 5:6-8). Shawn is an ecclesial minister, theology teacher and UAlbany PhD student of philosophy. Attendees will be invited to try this academic skill for themselves as we dive into the meaning of words, their translations and how they impact the way we interpret texts.
