Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children at St. Paul the Apostle Church (2777 Albany St.) from 3-6 p.m. The exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will take place at 3 p.m. Reposition of the Blessed Sacrament will take place at 6 p.m. Prior to the reposition, the minister will offer Benediction with the Blessed Sacrament. Between exposition and reposition, there will be periods of silent prayer and time for the recitation of the rosary, readings from the Scripture, the saints, the Magisterium, etc. A minimum of one adorer is required throughout the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

The year is 65 AD, and Paul is under house arrest in Rome by Emperor Nero, as reported by Luke at the end of the Acts of the Apostles. You’re invited to visit the great saint during his captivity where he will recount his days as a missionary. He is eager to share the Good News of Jesus’ love and to strengthen you in faith and hope. Cemetery Cleanup: Christmas decoration cleanup in our cemeteries and lots will begin on Thursday, Feb. 1 for all Albany Diocesan Cemeteries. Lot owners are requested to remove any Christmas decorations they wish to save before Feb. 1. Due to snow and frozen ground conditions, cleanup could be delayed for some cemeteries or lots. To be sure, please remove any Christmas/holiday decorations you wish to keep by Feb. 1. Fresh cut flowers in an approved vase are always permitted provided they are in good condition. Also, any new (non-Christmas) seasonal decoration may be left provided the decoration is in accordance with the current Cemetery Rules and Regulations.
