We will walk the stations of the cross with modern-day caregivers who lovingly give of themselves to their patients who are suffering and dying. The Theology of the Eucharist at Christ the King Church (20 Sumter Ave.) at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the Knights Chapel. What is the Eucharist? What do words like transubstantiation, substance, and accidents mean when applied to the Eucharist? What is the scriptural basis for the Eucharist? How does Catholic theology about the Eucharist differ from the beliefs of other religions? And how will these questions help me grow in love for the gift that is the Body and Blood of Jesus? These are some of the topics in Father Matthew Duclos’ talk as we proceed through the Year of Eucharistic Revival.
