Coffee & Conversation at Christ the King Church (20 Sumter Ave.) at 6 p.m. in the Knights Chapel. Adult Faith Formation will present a film titled “The Calling” made by Nick and Marie Viscio. The subject of the film is the call to religious life not just for men but for women too. The film will highlight the vocation of Sister Lou Liptak who became the first woman parish life director in the Albany Diocese. She was assigned to one of our sister parishes, St. Lucy’s/St. Bernadette’s in Altamont. By virtue of our baptism, we are all called to love and serve God. Where do women fit into God’s plan? There is sure to be a lively discussion following the film with Sister Lou that is not to be missed. Please join us!
