NOVEMBER 10-11

South Glens Falls

Rosary-Altar Society Holiday Market Place and Craft/Vendor Fair at St. Michael’s Parish Hall, 80 Saratoga Ave., on Friday, Nov. 10, from 3-8 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 11, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. A variety of handcrafted wares will be available from local vendors, including Pampered Chef. Food will be served in the kitchen cafe and there will be a bake sale as well. Raffles will be held with a variety of items donated by local merchants. Proceeds will help support St. Michael’s Parish needs, as well as the South Glens Falls community.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11

Clifton Park

Magnificat Women’s Breakfast: Join us in the Vista Ballroom at the Van Patten Golf Club, 924 Main St., from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., for a day of good food and good company! Check-in at 8:30 a.m., followed by breakfast and our guest speaker, Sister Danielle Marie Baran, CR, at 9 a.m. Prayer teams and confession at 12 p.m. Cost is $32. Breakfast Buffet hosted by the Latham-Colonie Columbiettes, 328 Troy-Schenectady Road, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Menu includes scrambled eggs, an omelet station, home fries, corned beef hash, bacon and sausage, pancakes and French toast served with warm syrup, a variety of cereals and juices, bananas and hot tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Adults are $12, children (5-10) are $6, and kids under 5 are free!

Stuyvesant

Navigating Conflict: Join us at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 900 Madison Ave., for two opportunities to learn about conflict resolution. Mediation Matters will guide our community through two events on how to navigate challenging conversations with people in your life. A presentation is offered on Sunday, Nov. 12, at 9:45 a.m., and an afternoon workshop event is on Sunday, Nov. 19, from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Both events are offered in the upper level of the parish hall.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 16

Schenectady 

The King’s Men Apostolate at St. John’s Church, 806 Union St., at 7 p.m. All men ages 18 and above are invited to join the Schenectady chapter of the King’s Men Apostolate. We meet each Thursday evening at 7 p.m., in the parish center to pray the Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, spiritual reading and discussion. There are no dues or obligation to attend every meeting. WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15

Glenville

Holiday Lunch hosted by the Catholic Charities Guild at the Terrace Room of Max410, 3 Freemans Bridge Road, at 12 p.m. (preceded by a shopping event at 10:30 a.m.) Proceeds will benefit women and children’s programs in the Albany Diocese. The Beatitudes Retreat at St. Lucy/St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 122 Grand St., from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Co-directed by Deacon Gary Riggi and Sister Dorothy Ederer, OP. Retreat includes lunch.
