Chicken & Ribs BBQ: The Knights of Columbus Council 4475 will hold a Chicken & Ribs BBQ at Noble Ace Hardware, 783 E Main St., beginning at 10 a.m. until sold out. Chicken dinners are $15 and rib dinners are $16. Dinners include coleslaw, baked potato and a roll. BAR-B-QUE DELIGHTS will cook. Proceeds will support the youth ministry at Our Lady of the Valley Church and a local seminarian.

Diocesan Memorial Day Mass with Reverend John Bradley at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, 1389 Central Ave., at 10 a.m. Please join us as Our Lady of Angels joins thousands of Catholic cemeteries across the United States in a national celebration, “Serving God and Country: A Memorial Day Salute to Our Heroes.” This national program, developed by the Catholic Cemetery Conference, honors men and women who died while serving in the armed forces, as well as recognizing both active-duty military and veterans. The Memorial Day Mass will take place outside, under a large tent, rain or shine.
Schenectady
Memorial Day Cemetery Mass at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery (100 Kings Road), weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, the Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church (600 State St.) The public is cordially invited. Barbecue Chicken Dinner at St. Mary’s Church, Crescent, 86 Church Hill Road, in the parish hall at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will consist of barbecue chicken, potato, macaroni and tossed salads, corn on the cob, beverages and ice cream for dessert. Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12, and $25 for families. Tickets can be purchased after Masses on the weekends of May 20-21 and May 27-28, or in the office during weekly business hours. Takeout will be available, but will need to be ordered in advance no later than Wednesday, May 31. We hope to see you June 3 as we kick off summer!

Albany Diocesan Cemeteries Community Memorial Mass at St. Pius X, 23 Crumitie Road at 9 a.m. Community Memorial Masses are held to honor loved ones that have passed and are interred within our 21 cemeteries. Family and friends are invited to attend these Masses.
