Breakfast Buffet hosted by the Latham-Colonie Columbiettes at the Latham-Colonie Knights of Columbus Council, 328 Troy-Schenectady Road, from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Menu includes scrambled eggs, an omelet station, home fries, corned beef hash, bacon and sausage, pancakes and French toast served with warm syrup, a variety of cereals and juices, bananas and hot tea, coffee or hot chocolate. $12 for adults, $6 for children (5-10) and kids under 5 eat free! Coffee and Conversation Presents Parousia: The Real Presence and Second Coming at Christ the King Church, 20 Sumter Ave., at 6 p.m. in the Knights Chapel. We’ll be discussing how the Real Presence is heaven on earth each time we celebrate the Eucharist. In a way, Christ’s second coming is a constant in the Mass as he changes the bread and wine into His body and blood. We look forward to seeing you!

Chicken & Ribs BBQ: The Knights of Columbus Council 4475 will hold a Chicken & Ribs BBQ at Noble Ace Hardware, 783 E Main St., beginning at 10 a.m. until sold out. Chicken dinners are $15 and rib dinners are $16. Dinners include coleslaw, baked potato and a roll. BAR-B-QUE DELIGHTS will cook. Proceeds will support the youth ministry at Our Lady of the Valley Church and a local seminarian.

Birthright Baby Shower at St. Margaret of Cortona Church, 1228 Main St., at 12:30 p.m. in the church hall. We are asking for donations of baby clothing, personal care items such as diapers, wipes, etc. as well as comfort items such as blankets, pacifiers and burp cloths. Rosary Tag Sale at Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Saratoga Road. Donated items can be dropped off at the hall on May 16 and 17 from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. and May 11, 12 and 15 from 9 a.m.- 8 p.m. We cannot accept donations on Thursday, May 18. Money earned from our sale is donated to charities in our area. We need additional volunteers to sort and display items received.
