The New York State Eucharistic Congress in October is going to be a big deal.

Thousands of Catholics from all across New York State are planning to come together at Our Lady of Martyrs Shrine in Auriesville on Oct. 20-22 to celebrate the real presence of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. The three-day event will feature inspiring talks, Mass, Eucharistic adoration, opportunities for confessions, motivating music and more.

That is why it is so important to head to https://nyseucharisticcongress.org to register; you can find a registration link in the bottom left corner of the home page. With likely 10,000 people attending, it is paramount that anyone attending from the Diocese of Albany  —  including priests, religious, even organizers of the event  —  register now.

Some parishes from around the state are planning to bring groups of parishioners. If you would like to do the same, it’s a good idea to start organizing and registering those people as soon as possible. As of last week, more than 1,000 people had already registered.

If you have any questions, you can reach out to Kathy Barrans, communications director, at (518) 801-2771 or [email protected].
