Pre-Father’s Day Event at St. Stephen’s Church, 51 Pawling St., from 4:30-7 p.m. Join us for strawberry shortcake, ice cream and hot dogs to celebrate the fathers of our lives! Donation: $5 adults, $3 ages 5-12. Kids under 5 are free. Extra hot dogs: $2. Plain, meat sauce or sauerkraut available. Death Cafe at St. Agnes Cemetery, 48 Cemetery Ave., from 2-3:30 p.m. We can’t avoid it, so let’s talk about it! The objective is to increase awareness of death with a view to helping the living make the most of their finite lives. Death Cafe is free; $3 suggested refreshment donation. St. Paul’s Summer Movie Nights: Save the date and please join us at the Hancock Cinemas, 533 W. Front St., at 7 p.m. for our first summer movie night! Our first movie will be “Jesus Revolution” (PG-13). In the 1970’s, Greg Laurie and a sea of young people descend on sunny Southern California to redefine truth through all means of liberation. Inadvertently, Laurie meets a charismatic street preacher and a pastor who opens the doors to a church to a stream of wandering youth. What unfolds is a counterculture movement that becomes the greatest spiritual awakening in American history. The movies are free. You can purchase snacks and drinks at the concession area.

Albany Diocesan Cemeteries Community Memorial Mass at St. Pius X, 23 Crumitie Road at 9 a.m. Community Memorial Masses are held to honor loved ones that have passed and are interred within our 21 cemeteries. Family and friends are invited to attend these Masses.

June Senior Event at St. Mary’s Crescent, 86 Church Hill Road, at 1 p.m. Seniors, you are invited to a “Summer Salads” lunch in the parish hall! This will be a great opportunity to start the hot summer months. Bring a creative summer salad or a traditional summer salad to share while enjoying the company of other senior parishioners and community members. Interested in coming, but unable to bring a salad to share? That’s OK! Your presence is the important part of the day!

Young Adult Holy Hour & Happy Hour at Annunciation Church, 50 West St., from 7-9 p.m. All young adults ages 18-39 are cordially invited to the next Diocesan Young Adult event! Come and be sanctified, grow in virtue, and have a great time with other young adults of faith. We will start at 7 p.m. with Holy Hour in Annuncia­tion Church, during which three priests will be available for confession, then move outside at 8 p.m. for Happy Hour with food and refreshments.

Step Up Men’s Conference 2023 at Our Lady of Martyrs Shrine, 136 Shrine Road, from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. The Step Up Men’s Conference will give men the tools needed to grow in holiness in their everyday lives. The event will include: presentations from Father Larry Richards and Deacon Darrell Miller, reconciliation, adoration, rosary, and 4 p.m. Mass. The purpose of this event is to grow in our relationship with Christ and establish a plan to bring this energy back to our families and parish families.
