Amsterdam

Pierogi, Piwo & Polka: A Polish Music & Heritage Festival at St. Stanislaus Church, 50-52 Cornell St. Fun for all! Join us for Polish heritage goods, live Polka music, Polka dancing, 50/50 raffles, children’s games, huge basket raffle booth, and White Eagle raffle. Delicious food and drink, including Polish cuisine (pierogi, kielbasa, golabki, kapusta and more), American cuisine (burgers, hot dogs and more), a sweet-tooth booth, beer and wine, soft drinks, and fried dough.

MONDAY, JULY 10 

Latham

Monday Nights on the Lot at Our Lady of the Assumption, 498 Watervliet Shaker Road. Join us on Monday nights from July 10-31 for food and fun! The night kicks off with barbecue at 6 p.m., followed by games at 7 p.m. We have kickball, four square, corn hole, bocce, and all kinds of fun! Come join us for a cheap supper and a good night out. Sunset Rosary Event at Saratoga Lake: Join this Real Talk Rosary (RTR) event at St. Isaac Jogues Church (located right on Saratoga Lake), 716 Route 9P, at 7 p.m., hosted by the Diocese of Albany in collaboration with Spa City Catholic. Bring your rosary beads, a lawn chair, bug spray, etc. We will be outdoors and sitting by the lake at sunset! We will pray the rosary and pause for small group reflections during each mystery. The event will include social time, prayer time and conversations that will help guide us on our faith journey. Faith on Film Series at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 900 Madison Ave., at 7 p.m. Our Albany parishes are gathering for a Faith on Film Series again. Join us at St. Vincent’s in the hall behind the church. Films are shown every other Tuesday. On July 11, we will be watching “Babette’s Feast.”

Glenville

Summer Nights Gatherings at Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Saratoga Road, from 6-8 p.m. Join us on Tuesday nights from July 11-Aug. 1 in the open area behind the Youth Center at Immaculate Conception Church for summer games and food. There is something fun for everyone! Games, saints’ trivia, crafts for kids, or just come and relax. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share and a beverage for your group. Charismatic Renewal Healing Liturgy at Christ Our Light Church, 1 Maria Drive. Event kicks off with prayer and praise — with music by Joyful Heart — at 7 p.m., followed by a liturgy and healing prayer at 7:30 p.m. Our presider for the evening is Father Jay Atherton. Saint Mary’s Consolation Group: Are you grieving a loss? Join us for Saint Mary’s Consolation Group, 39 Walnut St., at 10 a.m. The group meets on the third Thursday of each month in the rectory. Third Annual Party on the Porch at Townley Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Road, from 6-9 p.m. A free, fun family event! Live music by Grand Central Station. Just bring your chair and favorite beverage! Pizza will be available for purchase. Thank you to Pizza Works for providing the pizza available for purchase. There will be a 50-50 drawing.
