'Cross of Gratitude' coming to Rosa Mystica
The "Cross of Gratitude" - seen at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City (above) - will be making a stop at Rosa Mystica House of Prayer in Edmeston from Dec. 15-17. The cross will arrive Dec. 15 at 6:30 p.m., with a Holy Mass starting at 7 p.m. On Dec. 16, there will be Eucharistic Adoration at 10 a.m., Holy Mass at 11 a.m., and Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3 p.m.
The pilgrimage crucifix, which was created in Lviv, Ukraine, to mark the 2,000th anniversary of the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus in 2033, has traveled to more than 46 countries around the world. Currently, it is seen as a source of hope and trust in Christ during this time of war and crisis in Ukraine.
