St. Mary’s Festival: Join us at St. Mary’s Church, 156 East Main St., from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. for a day of festival fun! We’ll have old-fashioned carnival games, such as dime toss, balloon darts, color wheel, beanbag toss, hole-in-one golf, can toss, treasure chest, ring toss, lucky ducks and goldfish toss. Other activities include an inflatable slide, animal kingdom bounce, inflatable basketball challenge, a 360-video platform, acrylic pour artwork, face painting and temporary tattoos. Women’s Day of Reflection: The Albany Chapter of Magnificat (a Ministry to Catholic Women) is hosting a Women’s Day of Reflection from 10 a.m. -2 p.m. at the Sisters of the Resurrection Provincial House, 35 Boltwood Ave. Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. in the vestibule of the chapel. The day will include Mass, Adoration, Rosary, confession, Divine Mercy chaplet, lunch (bring a bag lunch and beverages), praise and worship and talks by Sister Teresa Grace Baillargeon, CR, and Sister Laurie Marie Parisi, CR. The theme is “Living Our Call as Women of the Eucharist.” Cost is a free-will donation. RSVP by Wednesday, Sept. 6. Bus Trip to the National Shrine of Divine Mercy: Join All Saints on the Hudson Church for a bus trip to the National Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Mass. A luxury coach bus will leave from All Saints Church, 121 N. Main St., at 7 a.m. and return at 6:15 p.m. During your visit, you will be able to walk the life-sized Stations of the Cross, visit a replica of the Grotto at Lourdes, see the St. Joseph’s Portico and Holy Family Shrine and attend Mass in the Shrine Church. The cost of the trip is $55 and you are asked to bring your own lunch and drinks as there is no option to purchase food on-site. The deadline for registration is Aug. 31.
