WHEREAS, Section 604(c) of the Albany County Charter (Charter) provides that a public hearing on the proposed legislative additions and/or deletions to the Tentative Annual Budget shall be held not later than December 1st, now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, That the Albany

County Legislature will hold a public hearing on the proposed legislative additions and/or deletions to the 2023 Tentative Annual Budget remotely, with participation instructions available on the Albany County Legislature website, at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, and the Clerk of the Legislature is directed to cause notice of such hearing to be published containing the necessary information in accordance with applicable provisions of the Charter.

Sealed bids for County Road 352 (Fox Creek Road) over Fox Creek Bridge Replacement Project (BIN 3301400), will be received by the Albany County Purchasing Agent, 112 State Street. Room 1000, Albany, New York 12207 until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2022.

Request for bid (RFB) documents may be obtained at the office of the Albany County Purchasing Agent, as noted above. The work site is located 0.7 miles north of the intersection of New York 145 and County Road 352 in the Town of Preston Hollow.

The work includes:

This is a bridge replacement project that includes removing the existing bridge and stream invert slab, adjusting the existing stream profile, performing stream reconstruction, installing steel pipe piles filled with concrete, installing a precast concrete arch structure with cast-in-place concrete footings and wingwalls, and roadway reconstruction within the project limits.

Plans, specifications and bid proposal forms will be provided on a USB drive in PDF format (ADOBE) and may be obtained at the office of the Albany County Purchasing Agent listed above. Contractors shall contact the Purchasing Department to schedule an appointment to pick up bid documents.

This is a UNIT PRICE BID. Each proposal must be made on an official Bid Form and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the base bid as security.

Successful bidder will be required to furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond each in the full amount of the contract price.
