Sealed Bids for Watervliet Shaker Road (CR157) Phase III Highway Improvement Project, as requested by Albany County will be received by the Albany County Purchasing Agent,
Room 1000, 112 State Street, Albany, New York 12207 until 11:00 AM, local time on Thursday, 12/15/2022.
Request for Bid (RFB) documents will be made available for download from the Empire State Bid System website at http://www.empirestatebidsystem.com starting by close of business (4:30 p.m.) on 11/10/2022. RFB documents can also be obtained on a USB drive in PDF format from the office of Pamela O’Neill, the Albany County Purchasing Agent, as noted above.
The work site is located on CR 157 (Watervliet Shaker Road) between New Karner Road and Sand Creek Road in the Town of Colonie, Albany County.
The work includes, but is not limited to:
Rehabilitation of CR 157 (Watervliet Shaker Road) from New Karner Road to Sand Creek Road. The work will consist of pavement reconstruction and rehabilitation, widening, sidewalk and multi-use path construction, drainage and stormwater treatment systems, utility relocations, lighting, traffic control devices, signals, pavement markings and landscaping.
This is a UNIT PRICE BID. Each proposal must be made on an official Bid Form and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the base bid as security.
Successful bidder will be required to furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond each in the full amount of the contract price.
The County of Albany reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive any informalities discovered therein. County of Albany, New York County Purchasing Agent
