Bradt named as interim director of Pyramid Life Center
“The Diocese is fortunate to have young leaders like Neil willing to step up when called to fulfill our mission of building community and growing our faith,” Bishop Scharfenberger said. “Pyramid Life Center is a special place to many people and knowing that Neil is someone who has many years of experience working at PLC and building friendships with the many people who visit is a strong attribute that he brings to this position. We’re excited to see PLC continue to thrive and make an impact on guests for generations to come.”
Bradt began visiting PLC when he was less than 1 year old and has been to PLC every summer of his life. He began working in 2007 as a dishwasher, gradually gaining more responsibility until he served as assistant director to Sr. Monica Murphy, CSJ.
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to continue my service to the Pyramid Life Center community,” Bradt said. “With the assistance of the Bishop, Diocesan leadership, the Pyramid Board of Advisors, and my wife, Courtney, my goal is to ensure Pyramid is a place for everyone to come to experience community and spiritual growth for years to come.”
Bradt was appointed to this interim post with the unanimous support of the Pyramid Life Center Board of Advisors, a group of long-time PLC campers and volunteers.
PLC is currently preparing for the 2023 season, with many familiar programs, retreats and parish gatherings. Those interested in joining or hosting a retreat or parish program can learn more about PLC at PyramidLife.org.
