The Parish Life Center, which was funded by an initial $5 million investment from the St. Pius community, is a 15,000-square foot, two-story building facing Crumitie Road. It includes an enlarged Gathering Area for socializing after Mass and events; a small Gathering Room for weddings, funerals and baptisms; unique spaces for both teens and young children; a special room for volunteers; a Multi-Purpose Room on the second floor that can accommodate up to 100 people; and an Outdoor Prayer Garden with increased parking and additional handicapped spaces. The center was needed as over 150 families have joined the parish since 2019.
“If we expect to be the place where our parishioners feel a strong sense of community today and well into our future,” said Father Jim Walsh, pastor, “we need more physical space to accommodate groups of all sizes, as well as providing a much-needed facelift to our current space.” (Photos provided)
