Notice of Public Hearing County of Albany

The County of Albany will hold a public hearing on September 28, 2021 at 7:15PM remotely via the Zoom videoconferencing software with participation information to be made available on the Albany County website at www.albanycounty.com, for the purpose of hearing public comments on the Albany County’s current Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project: NYS CDBG Project # 8ME33-15, Albany County Microenterprise Grant Program, in the amount of up to $200,000. The CDBG program is administered by the New York State Office of Community Renewal (OCR), and provides resources to eligible local governments for housing, economic development, public facilities, public infrastructure, and planning activities, with the principal purpose of benefitting low/moderate income persons. The hearing will provide further information about the progress of the ongoing CDBG project. Comments

related to the effectiveness of administration of the CDBG project will also be received at this time. The hearing is being conducted pursuant to Section 570.486, Subpart I of the CFR and in compliance with the requirements of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended.

The remote nature of the meeting is accessible to persons with disabilities. Sealed Proposals for Construction Management Services for Renovations, Additions, and Site Work at the Capital District Juvenile Secure Detention Facility as requested by the Albany County Department of General Services will be received by the Albany County Purchasing Agent, Room 1000, 112 State Street, Albany, New York 12207 until 4:30 PM, local time on Friday, October 8, 2021.

Request for Proposal (RFP) documents may be obtained at the office of the Albany County Purchasing Agent, as noted above. RFP documents may be available for download from the Empire State Bid System website at http://www.empirestatebidsystem.com, starting by close of business (4:30 p.m.) on Thursday, September 16, 2021.

A pre-proposal conference will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 10:00 AM, at Capital District Regional Planning Commission, One Park Place, Suite 102, Albany, New York 12205.
