Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons School in Schenectady recently received an $8,000 donation from the Ancient Order of Hibernians, John F. Kennedy chapter, Division 1.
The Hibernians hosted their annual golf tournament on June 4 with the proceeds earmarked to go to NDBG to support student scholarships. In presenting the check, chapter president John Humphrey said it made everyone feel very fortunate to give back. Treasurer Patrick Cremmins added that "we don't want a student to leave NDBG because of financial circumstances.”
