My faith is important because it makes me feel closer to God. It lets me know that God is always with me. When I pray, it makes me feel like I am talking to God and that I am getting closer to him. I feel like that when I pray for someone they get better. When my papa was in the hospital, I prayed that my papa could stay just a little longer in my life so he wouldn’t go to heaven without me saying goodbye. And then I knew that my prayer worked because my grandfather lived for another whole year. That’s when I knew that God is powerful and that he can heal anyone you pray for because God can tell when they should go and when they should stay. I was so grateful, and that’s why I believe in God. He performs miracles for my family.
I know God has been praying for us because all different people with COVID-19 have been getting better. I know God has been praying for our schools because our school has been healthy ever since everyone came back. God has been watching over us and keeping our school safe. COVID has really hit everyone hard, but I know that God can heal anyone if he knows that they shouldn’t go now, that they should stay with their family until the time is right. God is powerful and I think that if you pray to him and you believe in him and you pray for someone in your family who is sick or dying, God can do miracles. As we all know, God can do many things. He can pray for us, watch over us and perform miracles for us.
God is powerful and I love him for doing everything that he has done for my family. He has helped my family get closer to God and pray more and more. I love my school because they are like my second family, they care for everyone who is there, and have taught me about my faith and about God which helped me be closer to him. This is why my faith is important and why going to a Catholic school is important to me.
