FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

Children at Sacred Heart Parish in Stamford finally celebrated their First Holy Communion on Aug. 29 — which also happened to be Father Michael Cambi’s last weekend at Sacred Heart before his new assignment at St. Mary’s Church in Cooperstown. The much-beloved Father Cambi is also Episcopal Vicar of the Leatherstocking Vicariate. The children who celebrated their first Communion were: Madelyn Eklund, Quinn Forhan (who also celebrated his Baptism and Confirmation), Jennifer Marinaccio, Pace Popp, Paxton Popp, Cruz Profera, Grace Russell, Elyse Snyder and Molly Snyder.
