I am Catholic because it is my family’s faith tradition. It’s easy for me to imagine that it goes all the way back to Adam and Eve! We have decided to stay on the family faith path and are practicing Catholics. I have also decided to not stray and keep the faith tradition going so my grandchildren can have the amazing experience I am having.
I go to a Catholic school because it’s kind of a family tradition. My great-grandmother lived on a farm and there were no Catholic schools in the area. She wanted her daughter to go to Catholic school and that is how the family tradition started. So it started with my grandma to my mom and now to me. It may not go as far back as our being Catholic tradition, but I sure do like it and I will carry on with it too!
I learn about my faith at home and at school. When I go to church every week, I hear the word of God and learn to understand it even more. All these things are helping me become a better person in faith.
