Confirmation at All Saints

The Sacrament of Confirmation was celebrated at All Saints on the Hudson Parish in Mechanicville/Stillwater, presided over by Bishop Edward B. Scharfenberger on Oct. 19. Prior to the evening’s Liturgy, the Confirmandi held a mini-retreat the previous weekend, where they came together to pray, learn and grow in their faith. One activity was a meditative painting exercise (at l.) where the candidates expressed themselves creatively in fall colors. One of the paintings was presented as a gift to the Bishop the night of confirmation. Celebrating confirmation during the pandemic was more challenging, but the class did a great job and they were happy to finally celebrate the sacrament, which had been delayed since spring. Special thanks to all involved including Father Patrick Rice, pastor, and Deacon Greg Mansfield.
