Confirmation at All Saints

The Sacrament of Confirmation was celebrated at All Saints on the Hudson Parish in Mechanicville/Stillwater, presided over by Bishop Edward B. Scharfenberger on Oct. 19. Prior to the evening’s Liturgy, the Confirmandi held a mini-retreat the previous weekend, where they came together to pray, learn and grow in their faith. One activity was a meditative painting exercise (at l.) where the candidates expressed themselves creatively in fall colors. One of the paintings was presented as a gift to the Bishop the night of confirmation. Celebrating confirmation during the pandemic was more challenging, but the class did a great job and they were happy to finally celebrate the sacrament, which had been delayed since spring.
