SISTERS OF ST. JOSEPH OF CARONDELET
To prevent the spread of the coronavirus to their most susceptible and vulnerable Sisters and to keep all our Sisters and staff as healthy as possible, the Provincial House (385 Watervliet-Shaker Rd.) has implemented the following procedures:
General public access to St. Joseph’s Provincial House is suspended, effective immediately. All visits to the Provincial House are prohibited until further notice.
Visits from Sisters who live outside of the Provincial House are also suspended until further notice.
In accordance with the regulations in the Diocese of Albany, all Masses are canceled until further notice. Sisters who reside in the Provincial House may use the chapel for private prayer and are advised to follow the social-distancing measures recommended in the CDC’s mitigation strategies.
All events, meetings and programs scheduled at the Provincial House are canceled until May 31. These cancellations include the Spring Forums held at the Provincial House, the April Province Assembly and the Provincial House Jubilee celebration. The CSJ Associate Commitment Weekend remains scheduled for June 5-7, but the date will be reevaluated as the time draws near. The Province Assembly has been rescheduled tentatively to June 13-14.
