New pastoral assignments

The Diocese of Albany and the Office of Vicar for Clergy announces the following pastoral assignments: Father Joseph Phuong Ngo, O Carm, has been named new pastor at St. Joseph’s, Troy, replacing Father James Sidoti, effective Feb. 1; Father John Cronin has been named new pastor at Holy Trinity, Cohoes, replacing Father Brian Slezak, who is now the new pastor at Holy Family Parish, Little Falls and St. Joseph’s, Dolgeville, effective March 14; Father Michael Melanson has been named parochial vicar of St. Patrick, Athens and St. Patrick, Catskill, effective March 14; and Father Peter Tkocz will replace Father Melanson as parochial vicar at Sacred Heart, Lake George and Our Lady of Annunciation, Queensbury.
